At Gaia Baby, your baby’s safety comes first, right down to the air they breathe. Our materials are certified to meet and surpass global safety limits for formaldehyde and VOC emissions, ensuring cleaner air and a safer nursery environment.
Formaldehyde & VOCs: While there is currently no compulsory limit in the UK or EU, we choose to meet and exceed the world’s strictest requirements. Australia has the latest and toughest testing standards for formaldehyde (no more than 0.5 ppm). Our materials tested at less than 0.2 ppm, far below the limit.
Other Toxic Elements: All our woods, paints, and finishes are independently tested to exceed all EN,UK & Aus/NZ standards. This ensures they’re free from harmful levels of heavy metals or other toxic compounds.

The Hera Junior Bed Extension requires to you already own the Hera Cot Bed and Hera Cot Bed Mattress. The Junior Bed Extension Mattress is included, however, it is just a piece that extends the larger cot bed mattress.
Are there any fitted sheets available for the Junior Bed Extension?
Unfortunately, we don't have sheets available for the Junior Bed Extension at the moment. The sleep area of the bed with the extension is 60 x 160 cm
What is the age range for the Hera Junior Bed Extension?
This extension extends the length of the first bed mode of the Hera Convertible Cot Bed, meaning it evolves as your little one grows and can be used up to 7 years old.
Is the Junior Bed Extension easy to install?
Yes, it roughly takes around 20-30 minutes to extend from the first bed mode of the cot, to the junior bed mode.
