What mattress can I use with the Serena Cot Bed?

Due to the Unique contoured design of the Serena Collection the mattress required for each stage and curved and specifically shaped so that a standard 'square mattress' is not compatible.

Our Serena Cot Bed Mattress or Serena 3 Piece Mattress are both compatible.

What ages is the Serena Cot Bed suitable for?

The Serena Cot Bed is designed to grow with your child from birth up to 5 years old. With the Junior Bed Extension (sold separately) it can be used up to 7 years old

How many stages does the Serena Cot Bed have and what are they?

The Serena Cot Bed converts through multiple stages: Cot Bed High Mattress (0-6 months), Cot Bed Low Mattress (6 months - 3 years), Toddler Bed (3-4 years), First Bed (4-5 years)

When should I adjust the mattress height?

It is recommended to use the Cot Bed with the mattress in the higher position until your baby begins to roll over or pull up, usually at around 6 months old. Once you notice these signs, it is recommended to lower the height of the mattress.

How do I adjust the mattress height?

The Serena Cot Bed features a dual mattress height adjustment. You can lower the mattress height as your baby grows and becomes more active. Follow the steps in the instruction manual to find out how to lower the mattress height

What age should I transition the cot bed to the toddler bed mode?

This will depend on your child. If they are asking to move to a "big bed" or you feel they are ready to do so, the toddler bed provides a safe, familiar transition stage. Adding the Serena Toddler Rail (sold separately) can give extra security and piece of mind.
